Well it's only taken me a year to get around to it but at last I've started painting my living room, unfortunately the pc was in there and I keep having to unplug it all. Anyway thought I'd make a quick entry to at least remind myself in years to come about why there is such a blog entry gap forming. I should be getting on with it, painting, again today but Stephen is off school with a cold.

Well today we went to the orthopedic department and collected Stephen's new stability boots and inserts. He has been wearing splints, more technically know as 'bilateral ankle-foot orthotics" or AFO's for short, for the last 3 years. He needs them because he has totally flat feet, slighty low muscle tone and walks on his toes and this all leads to tight calf muscles and his ankles turning out

Some of our personal experiences with education.The school I choose was meant to be good for Special Educational Needs practices but frankly I've not seen much evidence of it in the area of autistic spectrum disorders. I'd like to share and keep a list here for myself to notice how if anything changes over time. The following is a list of foods Stephen will eat, it is very difficult to get him to try anything new in terms of food.
